Fiend's Fall
Fiend's Fall is a minimalistic mini-metroidvania game.
You take control of the Fiend, cast into the depths of the cursed hollow.
The game features two endings.

The secret to Ending A being revealed so late in the game is downright diabolical. Brilliantly done, you monster. Definitely not replaying for that. Great work, this was damn fun, and just the right level of frustrating.

SPOILERS BELOW (why doesn't itch have a spoiler censor option?)
I was wondering how it would work, so I just tested out an Ending A attempt. I grabbed the double jump then immediately jumped into the spikes to see if I would retain the powerup upon respawn. Instead I find myself back at the main menu. I repeat: DIABOLICAL.

I tried a couple more times. Made it past the boss, excitedly ran into spikes moments later.
I am so not gonna aim for ending A -.-
Especially with spikes being instakill -.-

I aint gonna do all that stuff again,
Could have at least respawned me at the orb position

also i found a bug, if you die without touching any crimson crystal you can't start the game again.
